FAMILY CEILIDH AT 13^TH CARLISLE SCOUT HUT

SATURDAY 30/4/11  7.30 to 11.30

To celebrate the Royal Wedding we are holding a Ceilidh at the Hut with dancing to “Reunion”. Cake and celebratory “bubbles” included, please bring your own drinks.  There will be a raffle so donations for prizes would be appreciated. Adults £5.00 and children £3.00.

Stanwix Big Tidy - March 12th

On Saturday the Cubs and Scouts have been invited to take part in the Stanwix Big Tidy Up.  This has been arranged by Carlisle City Councillor Paul Nedved.  We will be meeting at Stanwix Community Association at 10.00am on Saturday morning (12^th March) and we hope that as many Cubs and Scouts can take part. 

As many of the Cubs and Scouts were away last weekend we have only committed to working in the morning, but accompanied children are free to stay all day.

The City Council is providing suitable equipment and all that the Cubs / Scouts need to wear is suitable clothes (wellies or boots would be useful if you are in Rickerby Park.)   Please can we ask that you wear your necker but not your sweatshirt/shirt.

Both Bruce and I will be there to supervise the Cubs and Scouts but please feel free to stay and help.

We would be grateful if you let your section leaders know this week if you are able to attend.
