Cub Bag-Packing

There is a group bag-pack on Saturday 5th December at Tesco, Rosehill, Carlisle. We will require the support of all Cubs, Scouts and their parents. The money raised at the bag-pack is used to support activities in all three sections.
We will expect every Cub to do a two hour session supported by a parent.
A rota will be available this week allowing parents to sign up for a session that is convenient.
I look forward to seeing you there.

Sleepover and Wide Games at Ratlingate

Dear Parents,

We are holding a one night sleepover at Ratlingate on Friday 28th November. This will start at 7.30pm on the Friday Evening and your child / ren will be able to be picked up on Saturday at 10.30am.

The aim of the evening is to play a range of outdoor games before retiring whilst allowing some to have their first night away.

The cost will be £5.00 which will include drinks and breakfast the next day.

Please can your child bring either a tray bake or packet of biscuits as these can be shared with the other Cubs and helps to keep the cost of the evening low.

All the Cubs need to bring is a sleeping bag, favourite soft toy (optional but often recommended) wellies, waterproofs and a change of clothes. EVERYONE SHOULD COME IN UNIFORM WITH THEIR ‘NECKER.

If your child would like to come then please return the form, along with £5.00 next Wednesday (25th November)

Yours sincerely,

David Hodgkiss (Akela)
