Please be at Wigton Road Methodist Church for 6.40pm at the latest tonight in order that we can seat everyone together. The service will last for around an hour and it would be great if parents could stay for the service too.
I do hope that there will be a better turn-out than on Sunday where the leaders were left looking very embarrassed with the lack of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who made the effort to turn up. All the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts make a promise which includes either "to love God" or "to do my duty to God." Attendance at these events and Church Parades is one of the ways that we carry out this part of our promise.
