Cubs Ten Pin Bowling / District CycloX

Dear Parents,

District Ten Pin Bowling (26^th January) and District CycloX (4^th February)

Ten Pin Bowling

The new term starts with a flurry of Reiver’s District events.  On Thursday 26^th January it is the Annual Ten Pin Bowling Competition at AMF Bowling, Carlisle.  The Cubs have won this in both 2010 and 2011 and we’d like to put up a good showing this year too! 

We will meet at AMF at 5.50pm and your child should be ready to collect at around 7.30pm.  

The cost for this is £5 and includes a meal and drink.

So that I can confirm places please can you return the slip and £5 (cash only please) next week - 18^th January.

District CycloX

On Saturday 4^th February it is the District CycloX at Ratlingate.  Teams of four will represent their Cub Pack and ride for glory through a challenging (muddy!) course through the woods.  We are prepared to enter as many teams as we need – all you need to do is let me know by next week and be able to get to Ratlingate with

your bike by around 9.00am on Saturday 4^th.

If you want to go please tick the box on the reply slip and return it by January 18^th.
